FABULA TEN YEARS!
It was in spring 2005 that we understood something had to be done. For two years we had been running our festival and our activities were stretching into more and more fields. People called and wanted to hire storytellers or have workshops. We hade wild ideas on projects that no longer could be handled within the festival organization. That is why we started to construct this ship we still are sailing with: Fabula Storytelling. At the picture you see the first crew, with producer Veronica Bedecs and storytellers Mats Rehnman, Peter Hagberg, Kersti Ståbi and Ida Junker. Fabula has grown since then, and now we are sailing all over the seven oceans. During 2015 we will tell you here about journeys we have done during ten exciting years.

THE NETWORK "KEEP TELLING"
We are a network of storytellers that have interviewed survivors from holocaust, and tell their stories in schools. For example in the context of history, human rights or ethics and moral. We also tell on conferences and other gatherings, with the aim to inspire activities against racism, intolerance and for human rights rights.

Fabula has initiated cooperation with a number of storytelling organisations around the Nordic countries and Europe.
1 - SCANDIVIAN LANGUAGE PROJECT
Promoter for the Nordic project is Annemarie Krarup from Denmark.
Together with groups in Denmark and Norway we are educating adolescents in storytelling and arranging camps where they, through storytelling, become familiar with each other's languages.
As a group, they will also visit schools for multilingual storytelling in each country.
2 - CONTINUED TRAINING FOR YOUNG EUROPEAN STORYTELLERS
Young greek storytellers who will participate in the training
Along with storytelling companies in Greece, Wales, Italy and Poland we have received EU funding for a series of workshops and conferences where methods will be developed for multilingual storytelling performances.
3 - STORYTELLING EDUCATION FOR EUROPEAN EDUCATORS
Guy Tilkin, at the castle Alden Biese,n started the Scheherazade-project
We were invited by the organizers of Europe's largest storytelling festival, at Alden Biesen in Belgium, along with performers from many other countries to take part in the project, Scheherazade. the idea behind it is to instruct educators in our respective countries on how to use storytelling in language development. The project is financed by the EU.
